Attack on Serb near Klina attempt to scare off returnees

State Secretary for Kosovo-Metohija Zvonimir Stevic most harshly condemned the attack on Rados Magic, a Serb from Grabac village, near Klina.

Stevic, who is also president of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija, said in a statement to Tanjug that this was an ethnically motivated attack whose goal was to frighten off returnees to Kosovo-Metohija and discourage the displaced from returning to their homes.
He stressed that Kfor representatives had withdrawn their check points from Grabac but are now reconsidering their decision, adding that they will most likely reply affirmatively to the demands of Serbs from the village to re-establish check points.
Stevic invited Serbs in this Metohija village to remain on their homes despite the provocation they are facing, because that is the only way to preserve the province within Serbia.
