June prices of goods, services up by 0.4% against May

The Serbian Statistics Office today said that the prices of goods and services in Serbia in June 2009 increased 0.4% against May, the prices of goods increasing by 0.5% and the prices of services by 0.3%.
In June 2009, compared to June 2008, retail prices went up by 9.8% and compared to December 2008 by 9.1%.
Living costs in Serbia in June, compared to the previous month, went up by 0.1%.
In June 2009, compared to June 2008, living costs increased by 7.8% and compared to December 2008 by 6.9%.
The prices of agricultural products fell by 6.4%. The decrease was due to the seasonal shift in the price of vegetables, fruit and fish.
The price of industrial food products went up 0.7% on average, the price of tobacco remained at the same level while the price of beverages increased by 0.8%.
Te price of industrial non-food products went up by 1.3% and the increase was also recorded in the prices of oil derivatives.
The price of services increased by 0.3% on average.
Living costs in Serbia in June, compared to the previous month, went up by 0.1%.
In June 2009, compared to June 2008, living costs increased by 7.8% and compared to December 2008 by 6.9%.
