Serbia to use all diplomatic means to preserve Kosovo

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic and Minister of Religion Bogoljub Sijakovic attended yesterday in Gazimestan the ceremony of marking St Vitus’ Day and the anniversary of the Battle of Kosovo, where a liturgy was held for the Kosovo victims.

Addressing the present Bogdanovic said that the diplomatic and legal fight for the preservation of Kosovo is underway and although it is exhaustive Serbia will never give up.
The Minister call on Serbs living in Kosovo to maintain peace in the province, noting that the Serbian government will make every effort to enable the return of IDPs. The event was attended by Adviser of the Serbian President Mladjan Djordjevic, Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic and his wife, Princess Katarina.
Several thousand Serbs were also present at the ceremony which passed without incident.
