During a visit to the village of Crkolez in the municipality of Istok Ivanovic said that it is a worrying fact that there are no children in the village.
The development of the village and surrounding areas rests on agriculture and all work must focus on that fact, he said.
He announced that on June 3 and 4 a seminar will be held for the municipalities of Istok, Klin, Pec, Kosovo Polje and Lipljan where people from these areas will be able to receive training in designing projects which can create jobs for them.
Ivanovic said that the villages of Crkolez, Banje and Suvo Grlo have seen very difficult times since 1999 and that a lot of people were killed and driven away, adding that the construction of new houses is giving hope and reason for some optimism.
The State Secretary will also visit Osojane today where he will hand over the keys of a new house to a returnee family and will talk to returnees in the village of Kos. He will also visit the Budisvaci monastery in Metohija.
