The Serbian Statistics Office said that the average gross salary in Serbia in April 2009 amounted to RSD 45,304, up by 7.3% in nominal and 6.2% in real terms when compared to the previous month.
The average net salary in April stood at RSD 32,571, which is an increase of 7.3% in nominal and 6.2% in real terms against the average net salary in March.
Compared with April 2008, the average April 2009 gross salary rose 12.3% in nominal and 3.8% in real terms, while net salary also increased 12.3% in nominal and 3.8% in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–April 2009 compared with the same period in 2008 increased 12.4% in nominal and 2.8% and in real terms.
Compared with the January–April 2008 average, the average net salary in the period January–April 2009 rose 12.3% in nominal and 2.7% in real terms.
Compared with April 2008, the average April 2009 gross salary rose 12.3% in nominal and 3.8% in real terms, while net salary also increased 12.3% in nominal and 3.8% in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–April 2009 compared with the same period in 2008 increased 12.4% in nominal and 2.8% and in real terms.
