Following the meeting with Serb representatives and the local self-government Bogdanovic voiced his pleasure at the agreement reached, in line with which Serbs in Brdjani will be able to build homes in that part of town.
The Minister said that Serbs and Albanians must live alongside each other, noting that financial assistance for the construction of Serbian houses was provided by NGOs and international organisations.
He said Serbia will also help, adding that together with the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija it is under an obligation to aid all IDPs.
Speaking about electricity cuts in Serb inhabited areas, Bogdanovic noted that Serbs are ready to pay their electricity bills, while the relevant ministry is prepared to help those in dire need, for which RSD 100,000 has been set aside per every local self-government.
