Registration of firms in five days starting May 1

Director of the Business Registers Agency Zvonko Obradovic stated that a new registration system will be launched on May 1 which will shorten the registration procedure to only five days.
Obradovic told the news agency Beta that the one-shelter system will reduce the time for registration from 23 to five days.
The Agency will collect data for the issuing of tax identification number as well as for registration in the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund and Health Insurance Institute.
Obradovic said that this will improve business environment in Serbia and the World Bank's "doing business" list is expected to rank Serbia higher.
Obradovic said that the registration of companies will cost RSD 3,600 while entrepreneurs will have to pay RSD 560 for registration.
