A meeting of the international Contact Group and representatives of Belgrade, UNMIK and interim institutions in Kosovo-Metohija has begun today in Vienna. The meeting will look at reform of local authorities in the province, its decentralisation and measures to be taken to improve the position of all communities living in the province.
The Belgrade delegation includes advisors to the Serbian Prime Minister Slobodan Samardzic and Aleksandar Simic and advisors to the Serbian President Vuk Jeremic and Branko Radujko.
The Kosovo-Metohija delegation includes head of the Kosovo Prime Minister's office for international cooperation Enver Hasani, Minister Coordinator for return of the displaced in the Kosovo government Milorad Todorovic, representatives of the Ministry of Public Services and the Ministry of Economy and Finance Hisni Bajrami and Naim Bartiju. The delegation also includes two UNMIK representatives.
Member countries of the international Contact Group for Kosovo-Metohija are Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, the European Union and the United States.
