Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic today met with UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier, where he pointed out that UNMIK must continue operating in the southern Serbian province.

According to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, Jeremic stressed that the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon’s six-item plan must be implemented in its entirety.
He reiterated that the international civilian presence in Kosovo must be in line with Resolution 1244.
Minister Jeremic and the UNMIK Chief agreed to continue negotiations until the six-item plan is fully realised.
Serbian President Boris Tadic also met with Zannier, where he reiterated that Serbia insists on the implementation of Ban Ki Moon’s plan, which has been endorsed by the UN Security Council.
According to a statement issued by the President’s cabinet, negotiations concerning this issue will be continued in the upcoming period.
The UNMIK Chief today also
met with Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic.
