The specific measures proposed are the following: to directly subsidise interest rates on loans for liquidity, to co-finance loans for investments with the guarantees from the Guarantee Fund and to directly subsidise interest rates on consumer loans for certain consumer goods from international sources.
The total amount of favourable loans is estimated at RSD 122 billion.
At today’s session the government also adopted the bill on military, work and material obligations, bill on civil service, bill on packaging and packaging waste, bill on chemicals, bill on biocidal products, bill on air protection, amendments to the Law on environmental protection and amendments to the Law on the environmental impact assessment.
The Law on civil service, which also envisages the setting up of the Civil Service Centre, will contribute to more efficient work of civil services.
The government agreed to consider the implementation of the part of a collective agreement concerning employers’ financial obligations in six months.
The government also adopted a decree concerning the awards for artists who significantly contributed to Serbian culture. These awards will be presented at the recommendation of cultural associations, legal and physical entities. The awarded artists will be receiving lifelong monthly salary worth RSD 50 thousand.
At today’s session a strategy for the development of the Serbian trade was also adopted, with the aim to create modern market and trade system, which is of importance for Serbia’s EU accession.
