The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that bids for the sale of 70% of the socially-owned capital, that is, 61.48% of the total registered capital of NIN magazine and publishing house, have been opened.
Based on the analysis of the qualifying documentation and the opinion of the Agency’s advisor, the tender commission declared that bidders Novosti and Ringier fulfil the terms of the tender and opened the submitted bids.
The Novosti Company offered a purchase price of €760,000 and no investments, while Ringier publishing house offered the purchase price of €800,000 and an investment programme worth €186,607.
Both bidders unconditionally accepted the minimum obligations from the social welfare programme.
The Agency’s privatisation advisor will assess the bids and present them to the tender commission within the next 30 days.
