Minister Bubalo opens pharmaceuticals plants in Sabac

Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Bubalo, who also coordinates the work of the Economy Ministry, opened today the newly built plant for manufacturing syrups, creams, solutions and suppositories as well as the renovated solid forms plant at the Hemofarm Concern Zorka Pharma pharmaceutical company in Sabac.

Under the investment plan, which was concluded when Hemofarm Concern purchased 70 percent of the state-owned Zorka Pharma parcel of shares, the project was launched in mid-2003 when the design technical documentation was drafted. The project was completed in June 2004.
The designing, furnishing and reconstructing of the facilities amounted to 195 million dinars, whereas €3.32 million was used to import the equipment.
