Cooperation at all levels for peaceful life in Kosovo

State Secretary for Kosovo-Metohija Oliver Ivanovic met with Kfor Commander of the Multinational Task Force North Michel Yakovleff and said that Kfor is the only international institution enjoying the trust of both Serbs and Albanians.
The Ministry says in a statement that at the meeting held in Kosovska Mitrovica, Ivanovic said that Kfor’s presence provides a sense of security and by its neutral stance can deter those who want to provoke incidents.
Ivanovic noted that in the current situation, while EULEX has not yet been fully deployed, Kfor is situated in all the places where there is potential danger of conflict.
Yakovleff and Ivanovic agreed that the situation in northern Kosovo is peaceful but not fully stable, as well as that cooperation at all levels is necessary to ensure a peaceful life for all Kosovo residents.
