Tadic said that although EU membership is Serbia’s most important strategic goal, Serbia must also develop its relations with Russia and the USA in order to fulfil its national interests.
According to Tadic Serbian diplomacy must work on attracting foreign investment in the upcoming period, as its economy depends entirely on the state’s diplomacy.
I have already pointed out that all ambassadors have an important role concerning the attraction of foreign investments. In times of the global financial crisis any foreign investment is of importance for the Serbian economy, said Tadic.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic condemned the violence in Gaza and called on both sides to make a truce.
The conference, attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic, also addressed a series of other foreign policy priorities for Serbia this year, he said.
The Second Ambassadorial Conference, defining Serbia’s foreign policy priorities this year, will end today.
