Pavkov said that the celebration of World Environment Day 2027, under the auspices of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the holding of Expo 2027 in Belgrade will further strengthen Serbia’s international visibility and reaffirm its position as an active and responsible participant in the global agenda.
According to her, the challenges facing the world do not know national borders and require a joint and coordinated response, based on the principles of sustainable development and partnership, and Serbia will have the opportunity to set new standards in this area in 2027.
