Average monthly salary in August down 3.42 percent versus previous

Serbia’s average monthly gross salary in August fell 3.13 percent in nominal terms and 3.42 percent in real terms from the month previous, to 20,823 dinars, the Serbian statistical office said in a statement.
Gross salaries in industrial sectors averaged 19,403 dinars, down 3.65 percent in nominal and 3.94 percent in real terms.
Non-industrial sectors paid average gross salaries of 24,225 dinars, down 2.15 percent and 2.44 percent in nominal and real terms respectively.
The average monthly net salary dropped 3.06 percent in nominal and 3.35 percent in real terms against July, to 14,182 dinars.
The average net salary in industrial sectors decreased by 3.5 percent in nominal and 3.79 percent in real terms, to 13,220 dinars.
Net salaries in non-industrial sectors fell 2.25 percent and 2.54 percent in nominal and real terms respectively, to 16,487 dinars.
Non-industrial sectors paid average gross salaries of 24,225 dinars, down 2.15 percent and 2.44 percent in nominal and real terms respectively.
