Serbian Minister of Capital Investment Velimir Ilic, in Berlin attending a two day conference on railways in central southeastern Europe, presented a review of the most important infrastructure projects in Serbia, particularly dealing with the conference’s subject.
Ilic pointed out at the conference that Serbia is a democratic and stable country, and that funds invested in Serbia are safe and economically important.
On the first day of the conference, a Serbian delegation of businessmen and state officials held a number of meetings with European bankers and investors. The talks continue today, with the signing of bilateral agreements expected.
The conference on railways in central and southeastern Europe was opened by German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who encouraged investing in Serbia.
