International CG sales contract signed

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that a sales contract for the property of the company International CG (in restructuring) has been signed.
The main elements of the contract include the price of € 23 million and the following development and investment plans: the buyer must maintain the current function of hotels and apartments at least over the next 10 years and provide a 4 star rating for the Grand hotel over the next two years
The buyer will also be obliged to secure a minimum 4 star rating for the Suncani Vrhvovi Hotel (Konaci apartments) within a period of three years from the time of closing the contract.
The buyer accepted the minimal obligations from the social programme which included the condition that the buyer will take over 253 employees of the company Internacional CG.
Only one bid was submitted at the public tender for the company on July 31, 2008, by the MK Group jointly with the company Falkensteiner Micaeler Tourism Group from Austria.
The tender commission decided at its third session that was held on December 25, 2008 to begin negotiations and to approve the signing of a sales contact with the sole bidder.
