During a visit to the Patriarchate of Pec Ivanovic said that there are four serious crimes that must be investigated, the murder of farm workers in Staro Gracko, the murder of 12 Serbs near Podujevo, the murder of the Stolic family in Obilic and the murder of Serbian boys in Gorazdevac.
A memorial service was held yesterday in the Patriarchate of Pec for Ivan Obradovic (14), Vukota Gvozdenovic (16), Svetislav Ristic (17), Zoran Stanojevic (17), Dragan Trifovic (17) and Ivan Radevic (25), the six young men who were killed with automatic weapons by alleged Albanian terrorists ten years ago, in a café in Pec.
We cannot forget this crime. We are here to constantly remind the mission of their duties, Ivanovic said, adding that EULEX faces a hard task.
He said that EULEX will begin to face real problems in Kosovo within a year, when it will be confronted with organised crime.
Politics and crime are interconnected in Pristina. Far too much attention is focused on northern Kosovo and this has to stop, said Ivanovic.
Ivanovic also went to the graves of the young victims in Pec and later visited nearby villages.
