Jeremic to attend Security Council session tomorrow

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic has travelled to New York where tomorrow he will attend a Security Council session on the reconfiguration of the international civilian presence in Kosovo.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Serbia will seek support from the Security Council for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s report, which includes an agreed six point plan that defines the terms and conditions for the international civilian presence in Kosovo.
The report affirms Resolution 1244 that guarantees Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, EULEX’s neutral status and unhindered UNMIK presence and activities throughout Kosovo.
