New electric energy enterprise to be set up in Kosovo-Metohija

Assistant Minister for Kosovo-Metohija and President of the Coordinating Body Zvonimir Stevic today stated that the Ministry has started an initiative for the setting up of a separate enterprise to provide electricity to Serbian enclaves in Kosovo-Metohija.
According to him the Ministry and the Coordinating Body have sent this initiative to UNMIK, asking for a meeting to be held in this respect.
Stevic recalled that all of Kosovo, especially the Serbian enclaves, has had problems regarding the electricity supply for years and restrictions in some enclaves can last up to 20 hours.
