According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, following the presentation of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s report Jeremic will once again state that Serbia supports the reconfiguration of the international civilian presence in Kosovo as long as this is done in accordance with Resolution 1244, the Serbian Constitution and Security Council approval.
The Minister will insist in his address to Security Council representatives that any international presence in the province must remain under UN authority, status-neutral and must respect Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
During his stay in New York, Jeremic will hold separate bilateral meetings with UN and Security Council officials.
