The statement adds that seven Serbian ICT companies will be presented at the national stand titled “Hot Spot Serbia”, spanning 108 square metres.
Companies to be presented at the exposition are Belit (software and hardware for fiscal registers and POS terminals), Benet Kernel (mobile phone applications), BioIRC (software for medical diagnostics), Logo (software and hardware for network integration), ProZone (software for managing and archiving documents and projects), Europoint Systems (software for monitoring stock exchanges and bank transactions) and the software cluster Srpski Softverski Klaster, which includes companies dealing with computer software.
One of the main goals of participating in GITEX is to promote the Serbian ICT sector as a good investment target, as well as companies, their products and services.
The Serbian companies will be able to offer their business solutions, get acquainted with the competition and new ICT trends in the Middle East markets and set up new business relations.
Serbian Minister of Telecommunication and Information Society Jasna Matic will hold a presentation at the Serbian national stand.
GITEX Technology Week is the second largest exposition of information and telecommunication technologies, right after the CEBIT fair in Hanover. Last year a total of 3,300 companies from 82 countries took part in the fair, whereas 125,000 people from 137 countries visited it.
The participation of Serbian companies was organised by SIEPA with financial back up from the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Society and USAID, reads the statement.
