Serbs, non-Albanians should not apply for documents in Pristina

Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic appealed today to Serbs and other non-Albanians in the southern province not to submit applications for the new travel documents and identity cards being issued by the authorities in Pristina.
Speaking for Radio Gracanica, Bogdanovic said that submitting applications would be an indirect recognition of the “self-proclaimed state of Kosovo”, and will hinder Serbia’s efforts to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Minister stated,” This is absolutely unacceptable, we have our own documents and in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1244 these documents are still valid”.
