Munjiza was arrested on suspicion of violating the law in the capacity of judge, while Jalovic was arrested on suspicion of abuse of office.
Munjiza, as head of the bankruptcy council in the company BIM Slavija and Jolovic, as bankruptcy manager in the aforementioned company, obtained illegal assets worth RSD 64,404,761.61 in the company JU Trade Zeleznik from Belgrade, thus violating creditors’ rights in the BIM Slavija bankruptcy case.
Munjiza also made a groundless decision on February 23, 2006 on approving payments from BIM Slavija to the company JU Trade Zeleznik.
The Interior Ministry and the Prosecutor’s Office continue to investigate the case, concludes the statement.
