Five Serbian companies at Moscow Fashion Fair

The Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) stated that five Serbian companies made an impressive appearance at the Collection Premiere Moscow (CPM) fashion fair, which was held from September 10 to 13, in Moscow.
Participation by Serbian companies was organised by SIEPA, and supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Five leading Serbian fashion companies – Passage, Ivkovic, Tribeca, Kooi Knit and Tiffany attended the fair.
Ivkovic signed four contracts worth a total of €80 000 resulting in direct sales, while all the companies made contacts with more than 60 buyers.
Russian media and local TV stations reporting on Serbia’s national stand in Moscow showed great interest in Serbian exhibitors. Serbia is continuously working on building its own brand in the fashion industry with modern creations.
New brands and young designers are gradually going beyond Serbia. The fashion industry as well as the entire country is going through a considerable transformation. More and more fashion companies are creating their own brands, and in order to fully exploit the Russian market potential it is necessary that Serbia makes contacts with reliable distributors, which was done at the CPM fair.
Ivkovic presented women’s knitwear with the “Ivko” label, which can be purchased in exclusive shops all around the world, and Russian purchasers also showed interest in women and men’s knitwear for all seasons produced by the Kooi-Knit company.
The Passage Group, which cooperates with acknowledged Serbian designers, presented unique women’s clothing, while Tribeca presented suits and clothes for the business woman. The Tiffany Production Company presented informal clothes for children and young people.
Serbian Ambassador to Russia Stanimir Vukicevic attended the fair and was in contact with representatives of the Serbian companies throughout the duration of the fair, concludes the statement.
