A:

National Council for Infrastructure holds third meeting

Belgrade, 12 September 2008

The National Council for Infrastructure adopted the draft national plan for road and railway infrastructure for the period 2008-2011, which will be forwarded to the government by the end of the month.

The council agreed that the best solution for the Horgos-Novi Sad motorway is to split the road into several sections and to choose contractors in a public tender.

The council was chaired by Serbian President Boris Tadic and was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic, Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic, Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric, Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic, Minister for the National Investment Plan Verica Kalanovic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Sasa Dragin, Chairman of the Vojvodina Executive Board Bojan Pajtic and Mayor of Belgrade Dragan Djilas.
