Serbian Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac handed over today keys to 45 flats in Belgrade to members of the Serbian armed forces and Defence Ministry employees.

Addressing the press, Sutanovac said that 110 flats will be constructed by the end of the year, and 400 more by the end of 2009 for Defence Ministry and army personnel.
He said that new flats will be built not only in Belgrade but throughout Serbia. He added that talks will be intensified on military property in Nemanjina Street in Belgrade, for which the army should have received nearly 800 flats.
Sutanovac said that some 300 members of the Serbian Army and Defence Ministry employees have applied for subsidised housing loans.
