Minister without portfolio in charge of international economic cooperation and the social position of the church in the country and abroad Nenad Popović, PhD, spoke today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov about the development of strategic dialogue and the coordination of key foreign policy activities of the two countries.

The two officials also discussed current international topics and opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between Serbia and Russia in the field of foreign policy.
The interlocutors noted that relations between Serbia and Russia are characterised by the continuity of long-standing cooperation and regular political dialogue at all levels, which enables the efficient resolution of issues of mutual interest.
At the meeting, mutual readiness was expressed for the continuation of intensive political dialogue, the coordination of foreign policy activities and the improvement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
