Serbian government appeals for a peaceful and diplomatic solution to Caucasus crisis

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic talked today with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Konuzin on the economic and political cooperation of the two friendly countries.
Cvetkovic expressed the Serbian government’s concern about the humanitarian crisis resulting from the conflicts in South Ossetia.
He pointed out that the government of Serbia is sorry about the loss of lives and condemns any kind of violence against civilians.
The Serbian government calls for the cessation of conflicts and appeals for a peaceful and diplomatic solution to the crisis in the Caucasus. Also, the government hails peaceful efforts and attempts to end the crisis through negotiations.
