The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that bids for the sale of 70% of the capital of transformer producer Minel Transformatori from Ripanj, announced on August 8, were opened today.
The statement says that bids were opened at the second continuation of the first session of the tender commission in charge of the implementation of this public tender, and adds that the session began on July 1 this year.
The invitation for participation in the tender was announced on March 24, and within the deadline five bids were submitted by following bidders: ABS Minel - Trafo from Mladenovac, a consortium comprising Trans Enterprises from Nis and Samarskiy Transformator from Russia, TES Transformer Electro Service from Italy, a consortium comprising OAO Novaja ERA and Aurora Management from Russia and AS Latvo from Latvia.
The tender commission stated that all bidders fulfil the necessary conditions and opened the submitted bids.
The bids will be assessed within 30 days at the latest from the day they were opened, reads the statement and adds that official results of the tender will be known after the commission’s second session to be held after the assessment of bids.
