Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will meet in New York today with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to discuss possibilities for reconfiguration of the international civilian presence in Kosovo-Metohija.
The two officials will also discuss other current topics related to the situation in the southern Serbian province.
Minister Jeremic will tell the UN Secretary-General that Serbia is not against talks on the change in the composition of the international civilian presence in Kosovo-Metohija, but only under condition that it does not violate Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and that it is in line with Resolution 1244 and approved by the UN Security Council and the Serbian government.
