State Secretary of Labour and Social Policy Snezana Lakicevic-Stojacic said at the 97th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva that in Serbia, social dialogue is recognised as a national priority and the means for building a stable economic and social society.

Lakicevic-Stojacic said that Serbia is aware of the importance of developing social partnership as a factor which ensures a stable functioning society, and stressed the country’s top priority is to strengthen the capacities of government institutions and social partners for improving labour market management.
According to her, Serbia is ready to identify the goals, based on the experiences of EU and other developed countries, and use all available legal means to respond to challenges and bring the country back to respectable European and international positions.
