Samardzic meets with party representatives from Kosovo

Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic met today with representatives of parties that have deputies in the province’s newly-formed municipal assemblies.
The meeting focused on preparations for organising a joint assembly of Kosovo municipalities, and the relevant political, organisational and technical issues in establishing a representative body of all citizens in the province who accept Serbia as their own country.
It was also agreed that following the formation of these municipal assemblies, their delegates should hold a meeting of a joint representative body.
The public will be given further information at a joint press conference on June 15 in Kosovska Mitrovica, according to the statement.
