Payment of social programme for almost 1,000 employees in military industry

At the proposal of the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development a conclusion was adopted at its session today which is the first step in eliminating problems in the military industry.
The conclusion envisages payment of a social programme to almost 1,000 employees in military industry firms, and conversion of obligations from public revenues into the firm’s capital, as previously agreed with representatives of trade unions and management.
Further steps will be taken in line with decisions of an inter-department commission that will be formed to additionally examine the situation in military industry and propose strategic guidelines for managing this important sector to the Serbian government.
