Preparations begin for signing agreement between Zastava and Fiat

The Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development stated that a delegation from Fiat arrived in Kragujevac based Zastava today, and has begun preparations for signing an agreement on strategic cooperation between the two companies.
According to the statement, the delegation consists of 26 legal, financial and technical experts, who will make a detailed analysis of the current status of Zastava during the upcoming weeks.
The expert delegation will construct a clear picture of the dynamics and structure of investments to be made by Fiat, and will obtain precise data which will serve as a basis for designing a future business programme for Zastava. It is expected that the agreement will be signed by the end of June this year, concludes the statement.
