Samardzic,
who is visiting Kosovo-Metohija, stressed during his visit to Gora that the Gorani will establish a municipality in order to make administrative jobs easier, adding that work should soon commence in the areas of services and employment also.
The Gorani people are loyal to Serbia and have certain rights to health and education, but this is inadequate, said the Minister and added that he came to meet with the coordinator for Gora and representatives of the health and education systems in order to determine which further steps should be taken.
He said that it was decided that a few families will be given employment in beekeeping.
Coordinator of the Gora municipality Alija Abdi said that Samardzic has encouraged the Gorani to remain in Kosovo, and added that they will vote at the upcoming elections on May 11.
According to Abdi, it was agreed that local communities are provided support through projects, and one of them will help the beekeepers association.
Later, Samardzic visited the Sveti Arhangeli Monastery near Prizren, where he talked with the monks.
He proceeded to Strpce, where in the presence of representatives of local authorities, head of the Prizren District Sokol Djordjevic, Secretary at the ministry Dusan Prorokovic and Assistant Minister Ljubomir Kljakic, he opened the new sub-office of the Ministry of Kosovo-Metohija.
