Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said yesterday that a project of renovation of clinical centres in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Kragujevac will begin soon.
Milosavljevic said that the European Agency for Reconstruction will set aside €150 million for the realisation of the project.
The project is expected to get off the ground in 2005 and to close in 2008, when the centres will be completely renovated and supplied with modern equipment.
The minister specified that €24 million is earmarked for the Novi Sad clinical centre, €18 million of which will be used for construction of facilities and €6 million for the purchase of new medical equipment.
