Municipal President of Cacak Velimir Stanojevic said on the occasion that RSD 120 million was allocated for the construction of the flats, which took nine months. The Italian government invested RSD 90 million and the rest was provided by the municipal administration.
He recalled that as part of the UN Habitat programme 670 flats for socially vulnerable groups of the population were built in seven cities in Serbia, at a cost of €15 million.
Stanojevic added that the construction of 14 flats for war invalids in Cacak has been completed. The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy invested in this project and the flats will be distributed within a few days.
Velimir Ilic said following the handing-over ceremony that
he will travel to Russia tomorrow, where he will talk about oil and gas import relaxations with Russian representatives.
Ilic said that it was planned that Russia sign an agreement on import relaxations, reducing the price of oil and gas by 20%, but the signing has been postponed because the energy agreement between Serbia and Russia has not yet been ratified in the Serbian Parliament.
According to Ilic, instead of the agreement, declarations on import relaxations will be signed.
