Medical aid from Russia arrives in Gracanica

Gracanica Red Cross Secretary Novica Markovic stated today that medicines and medical equipment sent by the Russian government arrived in Gracanica today.
Markovic said that the medical aid is intended for the Gracanica Hospital and health centres in Gracanica, Donja Gusterica, Obilic, Lipljan and Kosovo Polje.
He recalled that on Monday medical aid arrived for Pristina, Novo Brdo and Kosovo Polje, while the second shipment is expected to arrive on April 30.
Red Cross Secretary in Kosovo-Metohija Dragisa Murganic said that Red Cross trucks will deliver aid today to health centres in Gnjilane, Strpce, Obilic, Kosovska Mitrovica, Osojane, Gorazdevac and Orahovac.
A truck load of humanitarian aid consisting of canned fish and processed meat will arrive today in Gnjilane. It is expected that by April 30 the entire aid shipment from Russia will have arrived and distribution should begin on May 5, in 22 municipalities in Kosovo where the provincial branch of the Red Cross is functioning, said Murganic.
He said that he expects that all of the humanitarian aid will arrive on time in enclaves in Kosovo and will be distributed by May 8.
