Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic stated last night that signing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU does not imply Serbia’s stance on Kosovo-Metohija.

In a statement to TV Pink, Jeremic stressed that the signing does not imply Serbia’s stance on Kosovo and that Serbia will never accept the unilaterally proclaimed independence of its southern province.
He noted that whatever Serbia does in its foreign policy, it will not lead to a change in its stance towards Kosovo-Metohija.
The Minister stressed that sooner or later, Serbia will sign the SAA with the EU and thus gain access to a number of benefits.
