First shipment of Russian humanitarian aid arrives in Strpce

The municipal office of the Red Cross in Strpce confirmed that ten tons of humanitarian aid provided by the Russian government for the most vulnerable Serb families in Kosovo has arrived.

The aid comprises food, medicines, medical equipment and disinfectants, and was sent on the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The aid will be distributed in the municipalities of Strpce, Dragas and Prizren to 300 families or nearly 1,000 people.
Russian Minister of Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief Sergei Shoigu announced yesterday that a second shipment of Russian humanitarian aid comprising medical equipment and devices will be sent tomorrow.
From April 2 to 10, Russia sent four shipments or 40 tons of aid for Serb enclaves in Kosovo.
The aid will be distributed in the municipalities of Strpce, Dragas and Prizren to 300 families or nearly 1,000 people.
