Continued support for projects at Pristina University

Serbian Minister of Science Ana Pesikan said today in Kosovska Mitrovica that the aim of this ministry is to expand the number of projects and to strengthen human resources at the University of Pristina, which has been relocated to the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
Pesikan stressed that it is important to have a scientific nucleus which connects young people and contributes to raising the educational level in Kosovo. She added that 37 projects are being undertaken at this university and one project at the Institute for Serbian Culture in Leposavic.
The Ministry will continue to finance and support the university’s projects, she said noting that all regions are equal and that the Ministry has particular understanding for those with problems.
As part of her visit to Kosovska Mitrovica, Pesikan met with University Rector Zdravko Vitosevic, deans and students.
