A decree on the registration, payment and withdrawal of bills which the state issued to service its debts with citizens who lent money for Serbia's economic recovery in late 1980s was also adopted.
The government examined a proposal of a resolution on prohibiting the withdrawal of charges which the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia filed to the International Court of Justice in the Hague against the NATO member countries for the 1999 bombing. The proposal of the resolution was submitted to the Serbian parliament by 82 deputies. The government decided that the issue of withdrawing the charges is in the exclusive jurisdiction of the State Union of Serbia-Montenegro and that the Serbian parliament is not authorised to adopt the resolution.
The government brought a decision on money awards for the medal winners at the 2004 Olympic Games held in Athens. In team sports, the winners of the gold medals will be awarded €200,000, silver medals €150,000 and bronze €100,000. In individual sports, the winners of the three medals will receive €20,000, €15,000 and €10,000.
A decision on the formation of the state lottery of Serbia as one-member limited liability company was adopted.
The government approved the strategic plan of the public company "National Park of Kopaonik" for the 2004-2006 period.
The government altered the decision on the number of students to be enrolled in the Belgrade Police Academy, increasing the number from 115 to 125.
The government backed the Belgrade Assembly's decision to adopt the agreement on interethnic tolerance, with the aim to improve interethnic tolerance and allow national and ethnic communities living abroad to exercise their rights and liberties.
The government adopted an information on the agreement between Serbia and Montenegro on transferring loan funds and responsibility for the realisation of the project of reconstruction of Serbia's transportation network. An information on the report of the work of Securities Commission for the January-March 2004 period was also adopted.
The government decided to free Hague indictee Veselin Sljivancanin and witness Radovan Knezevic from the obligation of keeping state and official secrets in the trials before the Hague tribunal.
