During his visit to Racane, Ljajic delivered a whisk to the soup kitchen where 85 of the most underprivileged inhabitants of Serbian villages in the municipality of Kosovska Kamenica receive food.
The minister talked with villagers about the many problems they are faced with, from the non-existence of public transport and TV signals, to the impossibility of using Serbian mobile phone networks.
In the village of Kmetovce he visited a branch of the Vuk Karadzic primary school where he delivered a computer. Teachers and students informed him that a school yard is needed for the 58 students at the school, as well as books for the school library which was destroyed in 1999.
According to Ljajic, the government will continue to help the people living in Kosovo-Metohija, especially in enclaves, and through its physical presence and constant visits will make efforts to convey the message that they have not been abandoned and forgotten.
These people do not need big words, they require concrete help and support by the state, said the Minister.
