The aid comprises food, medicines, medical equipment and disinfectants, and was sent on the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The first consignment of humanitarian aid consisting of 40 tons of foodstuffs and medicines, which the Serbian government sent to Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija arrived on April 2, and the second consignment on April 4.
By April 10, Russia will have sent four contingents of humanitarian aid to Serbian enclaves in Kosovo, totalling 140 tons of foodstuffs and medicines, worth approximately $1.7 million.
