In a statement to the news agency Tanjug prior to leaving for Bucharest, Jeremic announced that Serbia will insist on the discussion of the security situation in south-eastern Europe, primarily in Kosovo-Metohija.
He said Serbia will demand that KFOR remains fully engaged in the preservation of peace and stability, and most of all the protection of the Serbian ethnic community and its property, churches and monasteries.
We will insist that KFOR must stay neutral, which is in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244, added Jeremic.
At the fringes of the summit, Jeremic will meet with his Romanian counterpart Adrian Cioroianu and is also to give a speech at the working lunch.
