Dinkic recalled that the Zorka fertiliser factory is practically not working due to two unsuccessful tenders and said that negotiations will be conducted with the lease-holder Farmakom.
According to him, Farmakom has so far given excellent results in the production of fertilisers within Zorka, and now it is interested in leasing the entire factory, employing people and launching production as of April 30.
In the meantime, the state will increase subsidies to Zorka factory so that employees could be motivated to start production.
The Minister said that tomorrow the Serbian government will adopt a plan on establishing industrial zones of national importance and explained that the factories that will be working within these zones will be free of paying duties and VAT.
The only condition will be that they export 70% of the production and employ workers, Dinkic said and specified that there will not be many zones, and that the north-western working zone of Sabac, in which RSD 240 million have been invested from the National Investment Plan, will be one of the zones of national importance.
He said that establishing the zones is the best way for Serbia to attract foreign investment and create jobs.
The Minister also visited the company Rauch in Koceljeva, which received incentive funds from the National Investment Plan, leading to the employment of 120 new workers.
We supported this investment with €2000 per new employee and we think that Rauch, which is third in Europe according to the production of juice and processed fruit, has proved that the investment will be highly profitable, since people have found secure jobs, and very soon fruit growers in the area will have regular buyers for their produce, said Dinkic.
He pointed to the fact that Rauch is one of the very positive examples of privatisation in Serbia, since concentrated fruit juice from their factory will be exported to the EU market, and production will be based completely on raw materials purchased from local suppliers.
Dinkic said that he is convinced that Serbia will soon move towards the EU, and voiced hope that good cooperation with Russia will continue, while cooperation with the EU and the region will be intensified.
Thus a larger number of Serbian products will reach foreign markets, which means more exports for Serbia and more income for our people, said the Minister.
Dinkic, with a delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development also visited the company Europolis in Vladimirci.
