Knowledge-based economy, pillar of strategy

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said today in Nis that a knowledge-based economy is one of the pillars of Serbia’s strategy for sustainable development.
At a lecture held at the Faculty of Occupational Safety, Djelic said that Serbia as a country which does not have many natural resources must use human capital which is always renewable, adding that our country must invest much more in education.
The project was launched as a response by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office to the World Summit on Sustainable Development.
During his stay in Nis, Djelic today visited the industrial zone and companies Kopernikus and Nikon.
