Additional foreign investment confirms confidence in Serbia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović, alongside Jörg Heeskens, Advisor to the President of the Republic, today visited AUMOVIO Serbia in Kać, where cutting-edge components for the world’s leading automotive brands are manufactured.

Mesarović pointed out that high-tech solutions representing the very pinnacle of the automotive industry are produced here, noting that the company employs a large number of highly educated professionals – primarily engineers – and successfully cooperates with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, further strengthening the bond between science and the economy.

The company’s decision to invest in Serbia is the result of a stable business environment created thanks to the state’s economic policy, Mesarović said, noting that the trust AUMOVIO Serbia has placed in Serbia is confirmed by additional investments that exceed the originally planned amounts.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the company employs more than 2,830 people, making it one of the most significant employers in this part of Serbia, with a vital role in developing the local economy, boosting exports and strengthening the national industry.

She added that the Ministry of Economy and the Government of the Republic of Serbia will continue to be a reliable partner to all companies investing in the country.
